Three P is helping one of our customers, OHLA Sweden, in the recruitment of their new Procurement Responsible. OHLA is internationally well known, which operates in Europe, Latin America and USA, and are rapidly expanding and facing a new era as a global infrastructure group. With their expertise within construction and transport infrastructure management they are now seeking a Procurement Responsible to lead procurement alongside the Procurement Manager in the EastLink (Ostlänken) project, situated in Gerstaberg.

About the position

As the Procurement Responsible you will play a key role in optimizing purchasing strategies and processes to support the project. Working within the purchasing strategy and guidelines, you will ensure cost-effective, low-risk and high-value procurement solutions according to the schedule. You will get the opportunity to work with a high profile project and work within a multicultural organisation.

Your responsibilities include:

·      Planning and executing procurement strategies and schedule

·      Find, manage and evaluate Suppliers to ensure compliance tothe company’s requirements, guidelines and policies

·      Negotiating contracts and offers

·      Collaborating closely with Finance, Production, and Technical teams making sure technical requirements and delivery dates are met

·      Develop packages and contracts for current and furture suppliers/subcontractors

·      Maintaining purchasing records

·      Coordinate with Project Manager/SiteManager to ensure compliance with the company’s purchasing policy on the project

You are expected to actively participate and contribute to meetings such as, project planning, start-up,production and project completion meetings.

Qualifications

·      Minimum 5 years of purchasing experience

·      Experience within the construction industry

·      Experience of AB, ABT, AMA etc.

·      Experience from working in high pace projects

·      Fluent in Swedish and English

·      A Bachelor or Masters degree of Science in Engineering, or equivalent technical degree

·      Prefferably experience with procurement of civil works, e.g. ground,railways, concrete works
